Cooneen delivers over 200,000 Fairtrade garments to Transport for London

Transport for London were the first UK company and public sector body to source cotton under the Fairtrade cotton sourcing programme, and since the award of their uniform contract in 2016, Cooneen Group have manufactured and delivered over 200,000 Fairtrade garments.

To support and create awareness of Fairtrade Fortnight, Cooneen teamed up with Transport for London to recognise our collaboration and continued commitment to sustainable procurement.

Jenney De Sousa, Brand Manager for Transport for London said,

 ‘Transport for London are delighted to announce we have received our 200,000th Fair Trade garment as part of our staff uniform range. We are committed to ensuring fairer trade across our supply chain and are proud to collaborate with Cooneen in supporting Fair Trade Fortnight’
