Case Study

Cooneen Group were recently awarded a major body armour contract by the French Ministry of Interior. This significant multi-year contract involves the design, manufacture and supply of thousands of body armour sets to the French National Police, Gendarmerie, Prison Service, and Customs Officers. The body armour will provide ballistic and stab protection.

The National Police is one of two national police forces, along with the National Gendarmerie, the main civil law enforcement agency of France.

As part of the contract Cooneen provide a range of services including Account Management, Design & Development, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Testing and on-going support.

The contract is managed by our teams in our UK head office and from our local office in Paris with all armour manufactured in our UK production facility.

All armour is tested in our in-house ballistic test range by our specialist team of ballistic experts and verified externally by approved ballistic test laboratories.
