As part of our ongoing communications strategy during this uncertain time, we want to give you an update in terms of the work and activity of the Cooneen Group as we continue to provide goods and services to our customers.
Our main and overriding priority throughout the crisis has been the health and safety of our staff and those of our customers and supply chains partners, both in the UK and globally. We have worked hard to ensure all possible steps have been taken to achieve this.
Our UK sites, country offices, and supply chains continue to operate effectively and with minimal disruption. We continue to closely monitor any impact on our supply chains from country lockdowns.
We continue to operate all our UK sites fully in line with Government Advice, and we will review and adjust our plans as necessary as and when this advice is amended. We have commenced planning for the eventual easing of lockdown restrictions in the UK, to ensure we are ready to deal with this.
We have continued to assist Customers across our client base to obtain supply of vital PPE equipment. This has been done by working with our existing and extensive supply base, and these actions have assisted in addressing key supply shortages at this time of crisis.
As the pandemic continues to unfold across the world, our thoughts are very much with all who have been impacted directly by Covid-19. We have taken practical actions to assist local communities by manufacturing and distributing thousands of face masks and supporting the manufacture of NHS scrubs by providing fabric cutting to local manufacturing groups.
While we now look forward to an eventual easing of restrictions related to Covid-19, please be assured that Cooneen continue to take all actions necessary to maintain the provision of products and services to our customers.
