As Bangladesh faces its worst coronavirus outbreak to date the country is also facing a “dengue fever” outbreak in monsoon season. Dengue fever (also known as break-bone fever) is a severe flu-like illness caused by a viral infection spread by Aedes mosquitoes.
In association with the Dhaka ladies club, Cooneen has provided all 280 students in a local school with mosquito nets to help prevent this life-threatening illness. Well done to our team in Bangladesh.
